Grace Steele is the president of GO! STEM, LLC. The former Liberty High School and Central Virginia Governors School graduate currently attends the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City, majoring in Advertising Marketing Communications. Grace recognizes the importance of STEM, and she has made sure she is heavily involved in many areas of STEM, as well as in her school community. Her passions include music, science, and soccer, but Grace is also a linguist - she is getting her minor in French. Grace was a Broadcom Masters nominee two years in a row in middle school, and was accepted to the George Mason leadership program along with the National Student Leadership Program. In high school, Grace was very involved in extracurriculars - she was SCA Vice President, a member of Key Club and a member of Tri-M Music Honors Society. She played in the jazz band, pep band, marching band, and symphonic band at LHS as well as being Captain of the Quiz Bowl ACE Academic team. She was actively involved in Liberty High Schools Theater program and is Historian in the Thespian Society. Grace has been helping run GO! STEM since 2018, and stepped up to serve as president in 2020. She enjoys science, specifically biology, most out of all STEM fields!

Hannah Steele, a recent Yale University graduate and current engineer at Milwaukee Tool, is the founder of GO! STEM. She is an alumni of Liberty High School in Bedford, VA and Central Virginia Governor's School. Hannah was a 2017 Intel ISEF second place winner, a 2016 Intel ISEF finalist, a 2015 Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge finalist, and a Broadcom MASTERS finalist and semifinalist in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Hannah claimed the grand award for physical sciences at the Central Virginia Regional Science Fair in 2016, 2014, and 2013, and the grand award for biological sciences at the same fair in 2012. Some interesting classes Hannah took while at Yale include an introductory computing classes, an electrical engineering course, a mechanical design course, and a 3D modeling class! She has done research pertaining to soft robotics at Yale, and has been published. Her favorite part of STEM is engineering, as she is a mechanical engineering major!
Kelly Steele is Grace's second-in-command at GO! STEM. Mrs. Steele received a M.Ed. in STEM Leadership from the American College of Education and a B.S. in chemical engineering at UC Santa Barbara, holds a National Certificate for STEM teaching, and holds an elementary education teaching license with endorsements in gifted education and middle school math. She currently teaches gifted education at two different schools in Bedford County. Mrs. Steele was also a McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence and the region V teacher of the year for the Virginia Association for the Gifted. Mrs. Steele serves as both the adult supervision for GO! STEM and as a volunteer with Grace. Her favorite part of STEM is engineering, as she used to be a practicing chemical engineer!
